Long Range Shooting (LRS) Course taught by Jason Delgado.

 

Long range shooting course with Iraq combat veteran & MARSOC lead scout sniper instructor Jason Delgado. There are snipers, and then there are the guys who create them. Our instructor is the latter. He helped re-write the scout sniper training manual for MARSOC. Get 2 days with him plus lodging & meals. THIS IS NOT AN ADVANCED COURSE, however, this course IS required to take our advanced course.

12 spaces MAX.
For .308, .300wm, 6.5 cred, and 6.5 grndl, caliber shooters.

All course applicants must bring:

*Rifle with free floated barrel

*Minimum 10 power scope with a smart reticle such as Horus or Tremor (standard mil stadia reticles are also good to go) MOUNTED + boresighted BEFORE arrival to course.

*Have your barrel broken in with at least 200 rounds through it.

*Any tools you need to fix/adjust YOUR rifle. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

*Field worthy IFAK. (at least 1 CAT-T/SOF-T tourniquet, 1 quick clot gauze roll, 2 chest seals, nitrile gloves). We sell a really comprehensive one for $169, msg us for details.

*Hearing/Eye protection.

*200-250 rds of ONE single brand of BTHP or HPBT in grain appropriate to your rifle barrel length/twist:
FOR EXAMPLE, in .308:
·168gr for barrels 16″-20″
·175gr – 178gr for barrels longer > 20″

*Long Range Shooting Data book or notepad with 2 pencils and 2 pens. (If you don’t bring your own, we sell one for $10)

HIGHLY SUGGESTED:

*Shooting sock or sand sock (we can also construct at course. Bring 2 natural color socks: tan, green, brown)

*Common sense. At least a little!

**4×4 truck or SUV is highly recommended. Small non-utility vehicles will have a bumpy if not hard time trying to get to the private ranch we are shooting on. Msg us if you have a question about your vehicle.

REFUND POLICY:
**Because of the limited space and the costs we have to pay upfront, there are NO refund unless we cancel the course. Period. 

FOOD POLICY:
It is YOUR responsibility to notify us of any food allergies.

LATE POLICY:
*Plan to be in HONDO, Texas NLT 0700 Saturday morn. We will establish a rally point (TBA later) and escort everyone to property at once at 0730.
*If you miss that rally point, and miss the convoy to the property, the cell service is spotty, and we may not be able to talk you in. No refund will be given. Period.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY
READ CAREFULLY – THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTSIn exchange for participation in the activity of a Precision Long Range Shooting Course organized by SPEAR Survival, of P.O. Box 273330, Houston, Texas 77277 and/or use of the property, facilities and services of SPEAR Survival and its associates, representatives, vendors, or suppliers, (referred to hereafter as “affiliates”), I agree for myself and (if applicable) for the members of my family, to the following:

⦁ AGREEMENT TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings and further agree to follow any oral instructions or direction given by SPEAR Survival or its affiliates.
⦁ ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND RELEASE. I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the above described activity and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members, and further release and discharge SPEAR Survival and its affiliates for injury, loss or damage arising out of my or my family’s use of or presence upon facilities of SPEAR Survival and its affiliates, whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, SPEAR Survival, other third parties, or weather/environment.
⦁ INDEMNIFICATION. I agree to indemnify and defend SPEAR Survival and its affiliates against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs, or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my or my family’s use of or presence upon the facilities and/or services of SPEAR Survival or is affiliates.
⦁ FEES. I agree to pay for all damages to the facilities of SPEAR Survival and/or its affiliates caused by any negligent, reckless or willful actions by me or my family, guests or friends.
⦁ APPLICABLE LAW. Any Legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above shall be resolved under Texas Law.
⦁ NO DURESS. I agree and acknowledge that I am under no pressure or duress to sign this Agreement and that I have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before signing. I further agree and acknowledge that I am free to have my own legal counsel review this Agreement if I so desire. I acknowledge that I was made fully aware of the need to sign a liability waiver before I remitted payment (or offered a refund if notified after), and thus remitted payment for services knowing this waiver was necessary to secure services from SPEAR Survival and/or its affiliates. By not signing this waiver after remitting payment, I forfeit any and all payments made to SPEAR Survival and its affiliates.
⦁ ARM’S LENGTH AGREEMENT. This Agreement and each of its terms are the product of an arm’s length negotiation between the Parties. In the event any ambiguity is found to exist in the interpretation of this Agreement, or any of its provisions, the Parties, and each of them, explicitly reject the application of any legal or equitable rule of interpretation which would lead to a construction either “for” or “against” a particular party based upon their status as the drafter of a specific term, language, or provision giving rise to such ambiguity.
⦁ ENFORCEABILITY. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of the Agreement, whether standing alone or as applied to a particular occurrence or circumstance, shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement or of any other applications of such provision, as the case may be, and such invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed no part of this agreement.
⦁ DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement thorough friendly negotiations amongst the parties. If the matter is not resolved by negotiation, the parties will resolved the dispute using the below Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedure.

Any controversies or disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement will be submitted to mediation in accordance with any statutory rules of mediation. If mediation is not successful in resolving the entire dispute or is unavailable, any outstanding issues will be submitted in final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s award will be final, and judgment may be entered upon it by any court having proper jurisdiction.

I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND UNDERSTAND IT. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE, I VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.
